Saura Tribal Art

This artwork is created in the style of tribal wall mural art known as the Saura tribal paintings. Associated with the Saura ribals of Odisha, a tribe with distinct culture and a deep connection to nature these wall murals seem to be a simplistic depiction of their day to day life in the village. The human figures are elongated, less angular and almost always encased in an intricate mesh like border.
